Sometimes, *it takes two* tries 😉 If you know me and have worked with me, you know that I’ll periodically check in on the systems we’ve put together. After you’ve lived in the system for some time, you’ll recognize if it’s working well for you and fitting your habits and routines. Sometimes, we need to go back and edit a few things and, sometimes, we need to completely re-think it! My job is to make sure we create spaces that work for you. If you outgrow a system or space, I’ll suggest a new one ✨🫶🏼

This make over was all about functionality and simplicity ✨💄 Everything is zoned out so that each category of beauty products has their own home. It doesn’t get better than that!

My client wanted his office closet to double as home for his everyday work and clothes and storage for some office files and supplies. Each type of clothing has its own hanging zone now, and there are simple systems in place to aid in easy maintenance and functionality. Keep it simple, zone out your categories, and only keep what you need in each space of your home.

The bottom line for organizing your linen closets: figure out how you want to sort your sheets, find a fold that works best for you, and then contain those categories in bins 💕 Some people like to categorize their linen closets by bed size, some like to have a basket containing sheets for each specific room, and others just like to have each bed set folded all together. Choose what works best for you and your household 😉

This is such a dramatic song choice 😂 but then again, this is a dramatic transformation. If you know me, you know I love a storage room project. Beginning to end it’s exciting, such a good work out 😂 (moving boxes and building shelves) and, overall, just super rewarding for all parties involved. I was thrilled with the outcome of this one! 🤩

There’s always a way to make your linen organization functional and aesthetic, even with shallow shelving. ———
•Start by figuring out if you want to sort your linens by bedroom, bed sizes, or by linen set.
•From there, contain your categories in baskets that fit well in your space, fold them in a way that’s functional for you, and label away.
•Make sure you only hang on to the linens that you need! I always advise to keep no more than 2 sets of linens per bed.

We pulled everything out, sorted and edited, decided what items are every day essentials and which ones could be re-homed, and then sourced product that helped streamline their daily drops in a neat manner 🙌🏼
